Most of our Salesforce work happens over video calls, and it works well. But nothing beats being in the same room.
This fall, our team spent time in person with the team at Community Development Long Island (CDLI). CDLI helps Long Island families find, afford and keep a home, and we’re proud to support the team’s work with Salesforce.

What changes when we’re in the room
A screen share shows you the system. A visit shows you the people who use it. We saw how the team works day to day, heard the questions that never come up on a call, and put faces to the names we email every week.
Those small moments shape how we build. When we understand someone’s day, we can fit Salesforce around it, instead of asking them to work around Salesforce.

We also got to see CDLI’s work out in the community, including the Plus One ADU program, which helps homeowners build accessory dwelling units. Seeing that work up close is a good reminder of why clean data matters. Every record in Salesforce is a family, a home or a neighborhood.
Thank you, CDLI
Thank you to the CDLI team for the warm welcome. We left with a clearer picture of your work and a lot of energy for what comes next.
